The property is situated on the Chloraka/ Emba
border, near Paphos. The local villages offer many amenities
including Supermarkets, banks, shops and good quality bars &
restaurants. Ten minutes away is the centre of Paphos and the
excellent beach area of Coral Bay. This makes it a great base to
explore 'Aphrodite's Island' and the attractions in the
surrounding area.
There is a bus service between Paphos Old Town
and Coral Bay, but the use of a hire car is recommended for your
convenience and for seeing the Island and its history. |

cars can be collected from the airport or delivered to the accommodation.
Driving in Cyprus is on the same side of the road as the UK, so
there is no need to allow time to adjust. The journey time from
Paphos airport is 30 -40 minutes and from Larnaca airport is about
one and half hours. It is suggested if arriving at Larnaca that a
car is hired, rather than pay the return taxi fares, you may as well
us the money towards the hire costs. There is a two lane motorway
from Paphos to Larnaca and Nicosia via Limassol. An ordinary saloon
or hatchback will suit most people, but some roads towards Lara along
the coast are gravel but passable. In the Lara and Akamas areas
there are a number of dirt roads that if explored with need a 4x4. |
